A huge mouth feel with really nice dark fruit, gobs of wonderful tobacco,coffee,and dark chocolate. I hit this after the 90 Lagrange and it just didnt seem to be as ready for prime time. That being said this could in fact turn into a 95+ point wine in years to come.

An eighteenth century water colour shows the French wine vineyard comprising a single holding with the ch&acirc；teau at its centre, a situation which continues to this day. A fine chateau was constructed in 1778 which stands to remind us of this glorious past.

Took a few minutes to open up, and was perfect after 30mins. Nose was earthy, and a little poopy, "but under that you can get soft cherrys. Flavors of dark fruit and earth explode from the glass at the 30min. Mark. Some soft spice and nice floral notes as well. Finish goes on for days. A lot of sweetness in the taste. Elegant wine with good complexity. Long aftertaste. Delicious. The bouquet reminded me of Cos. The history of chateau（酒庄历史）： Ch&acirc；teau La Couspaude是少有的几个目前仍然位于圣艾米隆（Saint-Emilion）镇子内的酒庄。它具体位于村镇的东北部，距离monolithic教堂只有400米。1908年，已经拥有Ch&acirc；teau Sansonnet酒庄的Jean-Prosper Robin先生购入了本酒庄，并且传给了儿子André-Marcel.先生。然而，20世纪接连不断的天灾及战争影响了酒庄，使其未能发挥出佳的潜力。而酒庄的主人也把其大部分精力放在了Ch&acirc；teau Sansonnet上。本庄的转机出现在1963年。这一年，André-Marcel.先生的女儿Edith Robin成为了La Couspaude的新主人。Edith Robin女士的丈夫Etienne Aubert也是来自酿酒世家。夫妻二人齐力把酒庄经营了起来。酒庄经营得很成功，1996年被提升为了圣艾米隆产区的列级酒庄（Grand Cru Classé）。
