Our Portell Tempranillo Selection is a Red elaborated mainly with grape tempranillo, fruit of long macerations to controlled temperature (27ºC), which permits the optimum extraction of color and aromas. The wine rise in boots of American oak after what it will rest will in deposits for a minimum of 12 months, mixing the components to be bottled the following year by the time of the harvest.The result is a wine of red color with a ruby bottom of intense aroma of wildberries with toasted notes. In the mouth it is smooth and warm with a clear spicy post taste.It joins well with a rich range of meals being the ideal complement for the regional cuisine (calçots, barbecues, esqueixada of codfish, etc.). Merlot varietal wine has great elegance. Our Portell Merlot evolves in new barrels of oak during 4 months after the fermentation and long maceration at controlled temperature, in order to extract the maximum phenolic potential and aromatic to finish maturing in the bottle.Its cherry red color offer complex aromas with dark plum and notes of species. In the palate it is a wine with structure and outgrowth, slightly tannic, with a wide end. Joins very well with stewed meats, spiced plates and sauces, also with soft texture fresh cheeses. It is recommended to follow its evolution during the four following years after its bottling. The Portell Crianza is originated of the vendimia and vinificatión of the varieties separately, with long maceration after the fermentation. Raising of 12 months in barrels of American and French oak, after which it comes to the final coupage continuing the aging in the bottle.Of dark color, it has a balsamic aroma and toasted notes on a bottom of mature red fruits. With smooth and silky entrance, it fleshy and structured with a final length. It had a complex retro nasal note. Grec is our young red wine, made with a selection of tempranillo grapes complemented with merlot and cabernet sauvignon, of exceptional maturation in the microclimate of our vines, it becomes a great wine for daily consumption.The wine is of ruby color and clean and intense in nose, with aromas reminding wildgrapes.It can be combined with a great variety of plates such as bread with tomato, goat cheese, delicatessen and sardines.
